Associate Consumer Engagement Manager

Manage consumer engagement and lead the Consumer Engagement Team, ensuring a cohesive and accurate representation of our brands across all consumer-facing channels. You will utilize exceptional communication skills and impeccable grammar to engage with food and farming enthusiasts in the digital space, ensuring the delivery of the best possible brand experience to each consumer. This role delivers key consumer engagement data to the Digital Communications Manager, assisting in the execution of digital campaigns, and supporting the marketing team with other tasks as necessary.

This is a full-time hybrid position splitting your time between your home office and our offices in Lebanon, NH.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead the hiring and training process for Consumer Engagement Specialists.
  • Monitor and respond to consumer outreach online and on the phone, primarily focusing on calls, texts, emails, social media, blog comments, recipe reviews, and mail, using appropriate brand voice(s).
  • Expertly amplify positive comments, de-escalate tense situations, and provide the Consumer Engagement Team with the appropriate tools and ongoing training to do the same.
  • Support and understand upcoming digital campaigns; provide feedback and relevant learnings with the greater marketing team and in collaboration with the Consumer Engagement Team.
  • Develop monthly reports to summarize key stats and conversations relating to consumer engagement efforts and feedback.
  • Work independently, with moderate to minimal supervision, keeping the Digital Communications Manager up-to-speed on short and long-term tasks and goals.
  • Share expertise, experience, and enthusiasm for company mission to increase the overall knowledge, understanding, and performance of our brands and consumers online.
  • Additional tasks and responsibilities as necessary.

Key Skills and Qualifications

  • Associates degree and 3 years of customer service experience.
  • Experience successfully leading a team.
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and in writing with impeccable grammar.
  • Reliable internet connection and cell service at home, as well as access to a smartphone.
  • Love and understanding of farming and food; ability to answer a wide range of product and detailed farming questions. Interest in learning a lot about a complex industry.
  • Ability to work some night, weekend, and holiday hours.
  • Comprehensive understanding of social media platforms and trends.
  • Bilingual or proficiency with the Spanish language a plus.
  • Tech savvy, comfortable with online platforms, and smartphone apps.
  • Aptitude for both independent and collaborative work in a remote setting.
  • Ability to give and receive feedback in a positive, constructive manner.
  • Genuine enthusiasm for all things Pete and Gerry’s.
  • Sit/stand for 8+ hours per day.
  • Lift up to 25 pounds.
  • Repetitive keyboarding.
