Digital Marketing Specialist

The Digital Marketing Specialist is responsible for assisting the Digital Marketing Manager in the execution of digital plans, including social, email, and website, among others. The specialist works closely with the Consumer Engagement Team to help train on new platforms and emerging digital trends, keep the team up to date on upcoming campaigns and content, and manage engagement as needed. This role also supports the marketing team with additional tasks and responsibilities as necessary.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage the execution of digital campaigns, including the social content calendar and email marketing campaigns
  • Assist the Digital Marketing Manager in making changes to the Website, including formatting new recipes and blog articles
  • Support the Digital Marketing Manager in managing relationships with brand influencers for specific events and content needs
  • Collaborate with the Consumer Engagement Team, responding to calls and digital interactions in a timely, brand-appropriate way
  • Work with the Digital Marketing Manager and agency partners to understand and provide feedback on upcoming and ongoing campaigns; ensure the Consumer Engagement Team is kept in-the-know
  • Support development of reports to summarize key stats relating to our brands’ digital effort
  • Actively work to continue developing knowledge and understanding of the digital space, including email marketing trends, emerging/changing social platforms, SEO, website best practices, etc.
  • Share knowledge, experience, and enthusiasm for company mission to increase the overall knowledge, understanding, and performance of our brands online
  • Additional tasks and responsibilities as necessary
  • This is a full-time position, based out of our Lebanon, NH office

Key Skills and Qualifications

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree
  • 1-3 years’ experience in a marketing role
  • Love and understanding of farming and food; ability to answer a wide range of product and detailed farming questions. Interest in learning a lot about a complex industry
  • Understanding of digital platforms and trends, including all major social media platforms
  • Basic understanding of digital advertising and search engine optimization a bonus
  • Tech savvy, comfortable with online platforms and smartphone apps
  • Creative problem solver with impeccable written communication skills
  • Ability to work some night, weekend, and holiday hours
  • High aptitude for consumer service
  • Ability to give and receive feedback in a positive, constructive manner
  • Genuine enthusiasm for all things Pete and Gerry’s
