Accounting Associate

The Accounting Associate is primarily responsible for reconciling the accounts receivables and account payables for the Company.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

Accounts Receivables:

  • Collaborates with shipping team to ensure accurate and timely customer invoicing
  • Post payments accurately to customer accounts and prepares daily deposits
  • Reconciles and tracks customer’s deductions for promotional activities
  • Investigates, reviews, and approves adjustments to receivables
  • Partners with customer service team to address billing and collection issues -Various other duties as assigned

Accounts Payables:

  • Collaborates with Purchasing Manager and Department Managers to verify receipt of purchases
  • Properly match invoices and receiving documents to Purchase Orders
  • Responsible for proper coding of invoices to general ledger accounts
  • Researching and resolving vendor inquiries
  • Responsible for reviewing and reconciling vendor statements

Key Skills and Qualifications

  • High school graduate, degree in business or accounting preferred
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Detail orientated with strong organizational skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills; including telephone etiquette and face-to-face interaction
  • Proficient with Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerBi
