Despite the rain the Friends of the Farmer Festival and Hootenanny were a great success. This mid-summer event served to be a wonderful fundraiser raised money for Friends of the Farmer Hudson Valley Scholarship Program with Cornell Cooperative Extension for Hudson Valley Students to continue studies in Agriculture Education. We joined in the festivities with Carole Murko of Heirloom Meals who prepared her grandmother’s crêpe recipe using a fresh berry filling and used our Pete and Gerry’s Heirloom Eggs. We were happy to be a part of such a unique event supporting the future of agriculture in the United States.
