2011 NH Reach the Beach Relay RaceFriday, September 16, 2011 9:00 am - 5:00 pm
Information:
In spite of part of the route being washed out by Hurricane Irene, the 2011 Reach the Beach Relay race on September 16th and 17th was a huge success. We sponsored two teams, Pete & Gerry’s Organic Chicks and The Racing Roosters. Both teams finished very well.
 
Our Social Media Manager (and Jesse’s wife), Sandra Laflamme, is captain of the Organic Chicks womens’ team, and a college friend of Jesse’s, Doug Welling, heads up the Racing Roosters mens’ team. As sustainability sponsor of the race, we helped divert several tons of plastic, glass, aluminum and cardboard to recycling. We also donated eggs to help feed competitors, spectators and staff at eight transition areas.
